Meet the founder
GERARD C. COLE SR.
Founder of Joy in the Journey LLC and JoyInTheJourney.Club, Gerard C. Cole Sr. is a man whose life reflects resilience, purpose, and unshakable faith. Raised in the foster system, he faced hardships that could have broken his spirit, yet chose a different path — refusing blame and becoming a source of encouragement to the less fortunate, inspiration to the overlooked, and strength to those still fighting their own battles.
His journey deepened when he stepped into his calling as the manager of his niece and nephews, the internationally recognized group Voices of Glory. Together with their parents, they rose from humble beginnings to become celebrated headliners in Branson, Missouri. Through every triumph and trial, his steady faith and unwavering leadership became the foundation of their success.
Today, his mission continues through mentoring, writing, and entrepreneurship. His books — Deceitful Intentions and Jailed by Lust – Released by Love — reveal how faith can transform even the hardest stories. JoyInTheJourney.Club extends that vision beyond the page: more than merchandise, it is a movement created to uplift, strengthen, and remind the world that joy can be found in every step, no matter the road.
